Wedding Party

James

Kevin’s Best Man

Like Kevin, James gets oddly passionate about peculiar things, and they’ve always loved sharing these interests with each other. James has introduced Kevin to some of life’s little joys, including dubious chess openings, pondering the Fermi Paradox, and making perfectly clear ice cubes. They share a love of the spiciest Chinese food, but they might never agree on abiogenesis or Taylor Swift. Regardless, Kevin admires James’ commitment to ethics and his honest, thoughtful advice.

Michael

Sean’s Best Man

Michael is not just Sean’s best man; he’s his twin brother and the ultimate partner-in-crime since day one. Michael and Sean have shared everything—from climbing out of cribs to make a mess of the house as toddlers to staying out past curfew as teenagers. While they don’t always see eye to eye on everything, being twins means they’ve had a built-in best friend for life. Sean couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by his side on this special day.

Danny

Groomsman

Danny is one of the smartest people Sean knows, and he’s always been there to offer both wisdom and laughs. As the older brother, he’s spent years taking care of Michael and Sean, whether it was saving them from trouble or just making them laugh with his clever antics. From their childhood days of Sega and N64 marathons to their current VR gaming escapades, Danny has kept his playful side well-honed. Even though they’ve both moved out of Maryland to pursue their dreams, Danny’s commitment to family remains unwavering, proving that no matter where life takes them, some things never change—like his unbeatable game skills and top-notch sibling support.

Jen

Friend of Honor

Jen and Kevin met through a mutual friend but truly bonded when she introduced him to her ceramic studio. They connected over their shared perfectionism in creativity, although Jen’s patience and meticulousness surpass Kevin’s. She once created a needlepoint recreation of a photo Kevin took, which included more than 10,000 stitches. Jen also makes the best Yule log, a labor of love that Kevin has found challenging to replicate. Together, Jen and Kevin started a soap company and an even crazier mushroom company. Kevin deeply respects Jen’s craft and creativity, but he also treasures the simple moments they’ve shared, like enjoying a cider on a summer day, going for a “mushroam”, or cooking a nice meal together. Through it all, Jen has been one of the most supportive friends Kevin could ask for.

Ashley

Friend of Honor

Ashley and Sean’s friendship started in high school and has thrived through college visits and beyond. Even though they weren’t always in the same place, they were great at keeping in touch. When Sean introduced Kevin, Ashley was all in, fully backing Sean’s vegan romance. And fun fact: Ashley and Sean both had lip rings at the same time (pictured) and both feel pretty good about that decision. Ashley has been Sean’s support system through it all: the good, the bad, and the emo.

Alex

Friend of Honor

Despite growing up in neighboring towns in Maryland, Alex and Sean met in NYC in 2012 while working on a film Sean was producing, which starred Sherry Vine. Their bond was immediate, and over the years, they’ve maintained a close friendship. Whether they were enjoying a glass of Sancerre while watching RuPaul’s Drag Race or reflecting on their shared YOLO lifestyle, Alex has been a constant, supportive presence in Sean’s life. While their dating lives have had their share of “Thank you, next”s, Alex always knew Kevin was a “Yes and” from the start.
