At sunset on September 1st, 2023, we got engaged in the statue garden of the Tarrytown House Estate, a few miles down the road from our apartment. Surrounded by flowers and lush lawns, we decided to get married and share our love and lives together forever. Next October, we’re going to make it official in the very same spot.
We’re so excited to celebrate not just our wedding, but the beautiful connections that bind us all. We envision a beautiful weekend sharing our love with our dearest friends and family. We have a block of rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights. We encourage everyone to stay one or both nights so we can enjoy the weekend together.
The ceremony, reception, and hotel are all on the Estate grounds with a Hudson River view, rolling greens, and great guest amenities. Help us make this weekend one filled with cherished moments, laughter, and the warmth of shared love.
Love,
Kevin and Sean

The Venue

The Tarrytown House Estate is a hotel and event venue with lots of courtyards and common areas between buildings. We’ve chosen this location for our special weekend, in part, so there’s no need for shuttles and multiple addresses. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will occur on Saturday evening, but we encourage you to stay the full weekend. Your experience during our wedding weekend is very important to us. We can’t wait to see you there.

A note about the sketch
In the summer of 2022, we went out for a date night at a new restaurant in the South Street Seaport in downtown Manhattan. It was quiet and romantic, and there were only a few other guests dining. Halfway through dinner, a young woman dropped an envelope on our table and walked away without saying a word. Inside was this sketch of us. As it turned out, the restaurant had hired her to draw sketches of patrons as a special surprise. While Sean thought it was “kind of weird” at first, we later embraced it as a unique perspective into an intimate moment, as seen at our most relaxed and natural.
